At Superbuddy we have created a fun and engaging process to enable parents to better engage their young learners through comics. Our comic series caters to the fundamental needs of a learner and caregiver to make learning possible at home.
At the same time building the skills and attitude of learners suitable for future. The comic series encapsulates and creates learning possibilities which are:
-
Contextual
-
Authentic
-
Open ended
-
Experiential
-
Collaborative between the learner and the caregiver
The comic series are theme based short stories woven around the academic and socio-emotional needs of young learners.
One theme is spread over five days integrating aspects of five learning domains of pre-schoolers. The dialogue between Superbuddy and Ms. Emm is free spirited and non-judgemental.
The interactions in the pursuit of unfolding mysteries of life around are intuitive and derived from the immediate environment.
There is extra effort being incorporated to seamlessly introduce scholastic aspects without force fitting them in diverse learning encounters happening in day to day lives of Superbuddy and Ms. Emm.
The conversations grow between both participants in a most non-conflicting and non-patronising way. The information is built upon existing knowledge they both have and what they achieve as a team.
